The bumper-like design helps in protecting the top, bottom, and sides of the phone which are the most susceptible to damage. This video cage has a frame section that can be used to attach other external lenses. You can add either 17mm threaded lenses or M-mount. This cage will not disrupt the LIDAR array or the wide-angle of the phone and has shoe mounts and 1/4″-20 threaded mounting holes to attach other accessories. The video cage comes in a box packaging and has a separate box of multiple accessories that you can test while purchasing. This accessories pack includes items such as two SmallRig 2772 Lightweight Side Handle, 2066B Articulating Arm, HTS2756 Mini Top Handle, etc.
To install this video cage on your phone, you will simply have to press the buttons of the cage which will open the hinged section. Then you need to insert your phone in the cage by sliding it in and then closing the section.
